Health & Safety

At Bluestone on George we are dedicated to maintaining the safety and well-being of all our guests and team members and to this purpose we have a detailed Health and Safety Policy in place.

We have always had cleanliness as our top priority, but in response to COVID-19 we have taken additional steps to help protect us all during this pandemic:

• A poster is displayed on the property with reminders of the basic interventions to Stop the Spread of Covid-19. It also displays the official website for up to date information - covid19.govt.nz
• We have increased the frequency of cleaning for public spaces – particularly of touch points
• We have a hand sanitizer station in Reception and in the Fitness Room
• A Perspex Screen maintains a ‘respiratory barrier’ at the main Reception desk
• We continue thorough Guest Room cleaning with particular attention to touch points
• We will adjust our procedures in response to any changes in the Alert Levels announced by the New Zealand Government and follow the instructions advised by the Ministry of Health
• Bluestone on George has not been used as a Managed Isolation or Quarantine Facility in the Government’s response to the pandemic.
